Independent Classification and Certification Association “Det Norske Veritas” (DNV) was established in Norway in 1864. DNV is one of the most competent and largest international certification organizations. About 5600 labourers are employed by this company for now. Moreover, DNV established affiliates in more than hundred states all over the world.
DNV organizations fulfil classification, certification, quality control and operational inspection of the ships, sea and overland industrial installations. DNV have powers to inspect on behalf of 120 national state administrations.
